HSV, (Herpes simplex 1? |
Recently, i.e 2-3 days ago, I saw a thing on my lip. It did not resemble a cold-sore at all, and was half on the lip, half off, with the half-off part housing a single whitehead. Upon popping this, which was dry and not at all soft and squishy, it popped and stayed for awhile. Afterwards, it formed a blister half on-half off my lip, (1 day after), and looks nothing like a cold sore. I've never had cold sores before nor have i engaged in anything that would net me one. It felt like a pimple on my skin just under my lip than sorta collided. But i dunno if pimples blister on lips. It dried up extremely fast and is still there. Is it possibly just a pimple in a nasty spot? Yes it's possible that it was a pimple. Even if it was a cold sore, (HSV 1), it's not really a big deal because 80% of the American population carries the virus. Parents can give them to their children from kissing them when they have an outbreak or about to have one. HSV 1 really is not considered an STD, because you don't have to have sex to get it! go to your doc thats the only way to gain piece of mind. |
