How come only heroin users think that it is OK and there the same person when there using because there not? |
heroin is evil i have seen the heart ache, pain, ill health etc it causes. the person using will do things for heroin they would not do for anything or any one else even there own children! so to those people out there that think it`s ok to do heroin think of all the pain and suffering the people who love and care for you will go through ! i do have sympathy for users but i have grown up in an area thats effected by heroin addicts every one has problems but heroin is not the answer to any problem there is only one way to go when you start using heroin. Its denial. Users try to justify their habit by saying that it doesnt make them a different person when they are on it so therefore it must be ok. Its the same denial as the pot heads who keep saying that cannabis has never been proved to have links with mental health problems. Its simply to make themselves feel better about such a filthy habit totally agree with you, you can put any kind of DOPE down as well they can`t see the heart ache they cause to their family`s their to high to notice anything just locked in their own little world, first hand experience I agree with the other person. 100% agree. Anyone who abuses a drug has their own way of justifying their self. I know enough of them to be able to tell you that much. They may say something like, as you said, "I am the same person on it." Or "It helps me be a better person. I'm calm after I do it." or, my personal favorite, and not a very good one, "You make me do it. If you didn't act the way you do, I wouldn't have to use to feel happy." Every druggie is the same, from Potheads, to Heroin addicts, to crack pipe junkies. They know in the back of their heads they are doing wrong, but they want to pretend it's okay. So they give their selfs excuses. as a recovering herion addict i can say that it just doesnt matter what other people think, and if we do care for one split second we just drown it out with herion...now that is not my attitude anymore but that is really how we think...herion is always the answer...actually with herion there isnt even a question! addiction is a disease it is progressive, it can go into remission and all those other definations of diseases but anyway as herion addicts, after that first hit, we dont have a choice there is no control and no other way of life...herion addicts dont need sympathy they need help! but sometimes there just isnt enough...i have been clean since november after having a nasty overdose...so that would make me never want to do it again right? nooo i think about it everyday of my life wishing that i could just have it one more time (thankfully i am on meds called Revia/Vivitrol which is an opiate blocker so therefore i CANNOT use b/c it will have no effect on me) but ya cant take meds forever...anyway i dont knwo where iam going with this but this is why we do it...its only fun for a minute, then we have to do it to live....i know i dont like being dope sick |
