I am researching heroin for school....?
I want to know details about the euphoria.
What does the high really feel like?
Do you just feel relaxed or do you feel really happy?
How does the happiness feel?
Do you feel like you're in a whole other world or do you know where you're at?
Do you think of weird things and does everything make sense like on marijuana?

Yes I know heroin is bad I had a family member ruin his life over it and I already know about everything there is to know about it but I can't seem to get these answers out of anyone. Please someone tell me.

It is not "happy"... it is "apathetic"... like "you just don't care about anything." Long term use leads to not caring about death. Heroin does not make a person not feel... it makes them not care about what they feel.... and then not caring about ANYTHING...

I knew an addict who said he felt the pain, but that he just did not care... it did not bother him... nothing bothered him... he OD'ed with a smile on his face... he was not happy... he was just satisfied with no longer dealing with pain of life... like, he wanted to die.

It makes a person not care... and death IS part of the formula...death is the end. Heroin hastened that feeling. Heroin makes a person want to die and continual use makes the addict more ok with the idea of dieing.

NOT WANTING TO LIVE/FEEL PAIN > HEROIN > NOT CARING ABOUT LIFE > NOT CARING ABOUT DEATH > DEATH

That's pretty much it.
