Meth???heroin??

ok my sister says shes on meth(the stuff that gets you off of heroin)I dont know much about it!!??Its in a liquid form she says well i saw.Is there a liquid form of heroin?How does this work?I think shes on it.We saw needles and straws.I know the side effects.Shes not nodding though.Could she be hiding it well??Let me know some info...pleaseeee!!!!!!!!!Thank you!!!!!!

she wouldn't need needles or straws to take Rx methadone, you can't cook it or whatever to inject it, so the needles and straws aren't from using her Rx, it's from using heroin at the same time. She is trying to still use, needs to be locked up to dry out, rehab time. My sis was hooked on meth, the speed kind, she struggles with sobriety every day, almost 2yrs clean for her now. I know how hard it is to watch you sis kill herself, don't let her do it. Have her taken away kicking and screaming, better than watching her go into the ground at her funeral. I had to tell our brother and parents what she was up to, started cooking the stuff in her shed, and we all got together and made her go away. You have to tie up any loose ends for her, someone agrees to take care of her children, pets, and apartment (if she still has one). Have everyone agree to take care of any detail she may say that would prevent her from leaving "I can't quit my job" yes, you can, or go on a leave of absence. Most employers will allow a full time employee up to 3mths leave, usually used for maternity leave, but anyone can request a personal leave of absence.
"I can't leave my children/pets" You already have, you are not you, you can't even take care of you, you are going to die, I will not stand by and watch. I love you, I will take care of you children/pets until you come home, they deserve better than you are right now.
Good luck, my heart totally goes out to you, I'm crying as I write this because I know what torture it is to watch you sis drug addicted. Stand by her, but don't enable her. If she won't go away to rehab, you have to convince her to go. Get as much support from your family as available, you will need the combined strength of everyone to get through this.

Not meth...methadone...big difference, they get it in controlled dosages to ween off of heroin without tragic side effects and withdrawls ( there are some but not near as bad) it is a proven method and safe. If she wants it to work it will if she doesn't it is just anther way to get high. If f she TRULY wants it to work it will but she will need all of your support, don't worry about invading her privacy to search for tools of destruction, if you love her you will. Stay on her A$$. Addicts will lie cheat and steal, as you know. Give her the support she needs offer her metaphorically new playgrounds(places to hang out) and play mates. Show her fun without heroin...but for GODS SAKE don't even let her go out for a pack of cigarrettes by herself for a little while. She will complain and cry about trust and love but it is what you need to do. Invade her privacy to look for paraphanlia. That is what shee needs. I have seen people boot up between their toes, fingers every were just to get it. STAY ON HER

Methadone is used to get off of heroin. Check her arms for fresh needle marks.

It sounds like she has a serious problem. She is in need of rehab because more than likely she will not kick the habit on her own.

There are several way to tell you can check to see if her eyes are dialated that always a dead giveaway but if you seen straws and needles then she is definatly doing something and as for the meth that dosent help you get off the Heroine unless you are talking about methadone but that dosent come in liquid it comes in a pill if she has liqiud then its probably methanphetamines which is a hard substance but they take it and melt it down and use it in needles also but its not good either but the worst thing about it is that you or noone else can make her stop thats something she has to do on her own because like you said she is probably hiding it real good and you can tell her all you want . this situation sucks i know cause ive seen several of my friends lives ruined over this stuff and its not nice

Shes on methadone, it helps heroin addicts get off of heroin. Usually heroin addicts who seek rehab have to go to a methadone clinic in order to receive methadone. The idea behind going to a clinic to get it is so the patients do not become addicted to methadone from over use. If shes taking the stuff on her own, then chances are shes need to go to a clinic. If you want to help her then take her to a clinic.
