What is a Heroin overdose look like? |
Stupid question I know, but I'm writing a story and in it, a character who has never done drugs (but does drink) is forcefully injected with heroin. now, its a full on junkies dose (as I wrote it) so what would that look like? what would he look like? He would get very, very sick- throwing up ALOT, shaking, hot/cold sensations. He would probably look very pale- almost grey. Also, he might hallucinate. He might not die, but it definately would not be good. Take him to the hospital! haha ;P he'd look dead. Constricted pupils, sweaty, and they stop breathing....this iseasliy reversed by paramedics with Naloxone, but the Naloxone may wear off before the heroin, so they can stop breathing again. |

You are a dumb *** for snorting something you didn't know what it was. You need to make sure you know who you are buying from and make the person snort some before you leave if he or she doesn... Heroin is not all that expensive at first, because the dosage is small and a little bit goes a long way. However, the cost becomes much higher with time, eventually turning an addict into a crimin... First off you need to go to detox before anything else. They will detox you with methadone for 5-7 days and they also give you tranquilizers and motrin it is very comforable thats what I had to do ... Your body will be in a steady state meaning that the physical needs are met chemically by the amount supplied but, you will not feel satisfied, for example imagine having water cheese and bread for... check libraries and call your doctors office to recieve literature about it. also just try typing in drug abuse. wikipedia is not always accurate. P.S. i'm a recovering herione addict for 4... If he is taking methadone and still using heroin he is not going to get clean. Addiction is a terrible thing and is hard to break.
