Heroin: someone with experience using feel comfortable describing it? Anyone have any true stories?

Come on people, this is for college research. "Don't do it" and "It is addicting, and expensive", so on and so forth does not describe the feeling of using it. Could someone with experience using the drug heroin if you feel comfortable, would you describe the sensation. Be as specific as you feel comfortable being.

I have a niece who is an addict.
She did some time for a cocaine addiction.
After spending 100K on rehab, she came out a new person.
Then she tried Herion, one time.
She said it felt so great, she was sure she could quit at any time.
She was wrong.
In the beginning, she says when you come down, you are not 'back to normal', you are depressed. The high makes you feel better again. It is so subtle, you don't even realize it is happening, you just want to feel good again.
In time, when she came down, she wasn't just depressed, but ill with flu like symptoms. Your bones hurt, you throw up, you feel feverish, you have the chills, and you shake.
Now she spends $200 a day just to stay well.
She's gone to clinics and gets methadone, but the temptation is always too great for her to resist.
She has Hep C.
Her days are numbered.
What a loss!

everyone who i know who did heroin is dead,so dont even think about it!!!! i dont believe that this is a research project,you would be using clinical methods with real addicts.

Havent you ever heard curt cobains words, " got so high, scratched til I bled". Well there you go, sounds like fun huh?

ok, heres my run on heroin. I used it for 2 years before my stupid family intervened. Those 2 years were probably the best of my life. When you use heroin (i injected black tar) you get a high like no other opiate. you feel like, at least in my case, some sort of god. You feel like you can do anything and after the initial rush is over, you are calmer and feel like all is right in the world. I can't really describe the feeling to the fullest, and in all honesty, the best way to find out would be to use it, believe me, its worth it.
