Heroin withdrawal?

does anyone notice that heroin withdrawal symptoms r worse at night? also does anyone know any ways to help me feel better besides using methadone and stuff, like natural things that will help flush my system quicker so i won't be in so much pain? im crawling out of my skin!!! and i know, i know...im not the first, its my fault, i need help and there may be nothing that can help...but...i'd really appreciate it if anyone who has gone thru withdrawal had any advice for me? thanks

I have not, but my ex mother in law has. Niacin. You can get it as a supliment in pill form, and it helps detox your body. Also try cranberry jiuse, not cocktail, but the straight juice. It has certain enzemes that help to detox. As far as night time goes, take a hot bath, and just do your best to relax. Every night you get thru is one more closer to when you'll feel better! :)

LOTS of water. And it would help , especially in the first few days if you had something to help you sleep. Try some tylenol PM or some benadryl. Oh , and get some OTC nausea medicine... you may need it, many do.

You really should get some professional help with this, from a trained drug counsellor or drug treatment center. Heroin addiction is far more serious than you might think, and it's not something you can kick on your own. As stupid as it might sound, the methadone will actually help you as you slowly kick the habit. It replaces the heroin that your body is craving, and is done in a supervised environment that puts you back on track, and ia successful together with support and counselling and effective after-care.

I can't say that I know what you are going through, because I have never done that before, but I have been addicted to something similar. Everyone is different, and we all have our stories. Personally, for me, I prayed about it. One day I had enough, and I just started talking to God. I told Him I didn't want to live like that, and to please help me stop, and he did. I wasn't "into" God before, but something happened that day, and it clicked. The pain was gone like night and day. I don't know if you are a believer or not, I'm just sharing my experience with you. I wish you the best. Have you called any clinics for ideas, or maybe a hospital? You can do it. You're worth the fight!

Your in a bad place right now....I'm sure it's only gonna get worse ...there is no secret thing you can take....you have to give your body time to get back to normal......and I'm sure you already know it's not gonna be over in acouple hours....Don't give up...every day you'll be stronger....I'll pray for you. Withdrawals are kind of like a really bad case of the flu however what makes it worse is that you can't get any rest at night and you are exhausted from fighting all day...
I remember thinking to myself..
" I could beat this without a problem If I could just get a nights sleep every night "..
Problem solved...Chloral Hydrate...
I got a bottle and knocked myself out every night for about a week. ..Once the worst was over, I quit the Chloral Hydrate and drank a fair bit of alcohol for a month or two ...I still got that feeling
for a couple of years every time I smelled a fresh match but the whole experience was not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
I sure can relate to the need for a good nights sleep and Chloral Hydrate is now old school....I suppose I would use Ambien now.
Chloral Hydrate is what used to be called "Knock out Drops" or a "Mickey" 30 - 50 yrs ago..
