I completely disagree with others who answered. Crack is the drug that never gets you as high as the first time it's done. Heroin, on the other hand, still get you just as high. A persons body will, however, build up somewhat of a tolerance to the point where you'd have to do a little more of the same stuff for the same high (over a long period of time), but there are so many different types of heroin out there, so if one switches around, they'll continually get just as high as the first time - that is, if you survive. You know this since I've talked with you before, but I've been clean for 7 months now from using heroin and cocaine for 17 years. I did build up a tolerance to some types of heroin to the point where I did 3 or 4 bags instead of 1, but that took time - and many many overdoses later, I'm lucky to be alive and now recovering. Don't allow your curiousity to kill you, end up in jail or with a debilitating addiction - you don't want the life I had. I can promise you that.

You never get as high as that first time. You will spend all of forever chasing that first high. And you will be sorely disappointed. This is how people overdose from heroin. They take more and more, trying to get that high they remember, and they end up shutting down their respiratory system.

It's called "Chasing the Dragon". You will never have that same feeling. Do yourself a favor, slay the dragon by checking into rehab, if you can't talk w/ your family.

ya i heard thats true.. but also heroin is the only drug you get hooked on only after the first time of doing it.. then ur just goin to be a drugy and gross.. and when and if you want to stop.. its one of the hardest because you get really sick when you come down off it.. but if you do it.. all i have to say is your dumb..and good luck with the crappy life your goin to have

After reading what other people don't know about heroin and are giving you advice, I'm a Viet-Nam vet and got hooked in 70 spent several veryhard decades addicted and final got clean, Know this the dope on the street is up there in % and the most simple little extra bit the first time and it's your last.
The others just dis you as a person looking to experement and turn into a junky right away, best bet is dont go there you'll end up doing and saying anything for the drug;research this alot more. Go to a metadone clinic and ask these people about your interest.
