In California. I have herniated disk in my neck. and torn rotorycuff. need steriods--american1865@yaho? |
i have a herniated disk in my neck. ( already had fusion two years ago) Now I have torn my rotary cuff. I have no insuarnce. I live in L>A. Went to two emergency rooms, waited 10 hours at one to get free help. second was too disgusting to stay around. The internet says steriods has a changce to heal me. I have alomost no money. doctors want xrays--I cannot afford that. How can I get steroids to heal my shoulder and neck. american1865@yahoo.com The advice from Honey 2006 is absolutely right on. Steroids is not the answer to your problems. Most medical schools will provide un-compensated care (no pay) in the residents clinic (Orthopedic) Worth a try. steroids are not going to heal you shoulder and neck. they only decrease the inflammatory process. Take an anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen with food to avoid an ulcer, apply heat alternated with ice packs avoid strenuous use of your arm and neck until you feel better then exercise. And stay out of the ER they only see you as a drug seeker. steroids won't do nothing, sounds like you will need surgery to fix your shoulder and your neck. Maybe you could get help from friends or family, or go through a payment plan. good luck with whatever you decide to do. |
