I was diagnosed with a herniated disk. How can I permanently cure this ailment? The pain is so intense.?

Herniated discs will not be corrected with surgery or fruit juice.

The disc is not the problem. A herniated disc is a symptom, not the cause. Believe it or not, herniated discs are most often a result of imbalances in your muscular system. Let me explain.

Muscles work in pairs on either side of a joint, whether it be a knee, elbow or a vertebrae. For the elbow, the biceps muscle flexes your elbow joint and the triceps extends the joint. It works this way for each vertebrae as well. If muscular tension is equal on both sides of the joint it functions normally and there is no abnormal strain. However, if muscles on one side of a joint become hypertonic (overly tight) it will lever the bones more in one direction than another. In the spine, this causes two vertebrae to exert force on one side of the joint more than the opposite side (causing a "wedge" effect), literally squeezing the articular disc out the loose side. This is what happens to people with Scoliosis, for example. All those curves in the spine are the result of muscular compensations
and unequal tension from one side to the other.

Yes, your condition is correctable but you need to go the right person for help. A doctor or surgeon will give you only two options, surgery or drugs, neither of which will help you or correct the herniated disc. You need a muscle specialist, such as Neuromuscular Therapist, Rolfer or similar practitioner. They will be able to identify the muscles causing your problem and get them released and balanced. Once the muscles are balanced the vertebrae will settle back to proper position and no longer squeeze unequally on the disc.

The solution to your problem is simpler than you think.

See a good doctor.. sometimes they can do surgery or give you some pain killers.. I have several disk that are herniated.. and I am waiting for all the lawyers to have their fun and get lots of money.. just so I can get my surgery... Isn't that ridiculous??? I just want to be better.. they all want money... so I have to wait a few years... in pain.. with numbness.. and unable to do my normal activities.. Good Luck to you.. but my guess is that sooner or later you will get use to the pain... I would also never see a Chiropractor.. they can make things worse in my opinion... see a doctor that specializes in your medical needs... Good Luck. :)
