My husband had a hernia operation over a year ago. He followed all the doctor's orders and went to all follow
up appointments, but after the surgery he felt like he still had the hernia. He went back again and the doctor told him to give it time to heal. Well months went by and he still felt the same thing. He told the doctor he didn't think he had fixed the hernia. The doctor referred him to another doctor and the 2nd doctor told him he had a totally different kind of hernia than the 1st one said he had. We no longer have insurance and his new job is very strenuous. He couldn't take the time off that he would need to heal and we could never afford to pay for this surgery on our own. I feel like this is the doctor's fault and my husband should be compensated for having to go through this surgery again. Everyone seems to think that they wont do anything about it though. What can we do?

Hello...lalove

If I was him I would go back to the first doctor and tell him to call the second doctor and talk about his case with him and you there. Then tell the first doctor that you want the job done right at his expense.Insist on it. Explain your insurance problem and money problem etc. If that doesn't work see a third doctor...See what he says. If that doesn't work then see a lawyer and go from there. But only Sue for what Money you need to take care of his problem. Don't try to take the doctor to the cleaners. Good luck
Have a nice day and love yourself and love God.
Sincerely, J . (:
