Hernia or normal... Continued..?

Hello,

This is an addition to my question located here:-
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

I have noticed looking down at myself, that it bulges out just the same on the other side.

I was just inspecting it once again, and I noticed that just above this thing that I suspect might be a hernia, my belly/stomach (whatever its called) goes inwards.

This inward poking bit of my front, Im thinking, is just making the other side look like it protrudes out more than the other side... when infact it doesnt. So one side of my belly goes inwards, and the other side doesnt which makes that side look completely flat.

This is what is confusing me...

1. Should the area where I suspect the hernia, feel any different to touch... cause it doesnt!
2. Should there be any discolouration... cause there isnt!
3. Should it hurt to touch... cause there isnt any pain when i touch it.
4. Should it hurt when i tense or lift?

It appeared as though you had some great advice already, from your first question.
Maybe you don't like Doctors because that's the advice everyone appears to be giving you.
The only way to know for sure, is to get a trained medical opinion from a doctor who can actually see the area.

Just because you don't have pain, doesn't mean there isn't a problem there. Please get checked out properly.
