Hernia surgery recovery time?

I am 14 i have a wierd type of hernia, it is so low it cant gett lower but the wierd thing is that the doctors said that i should wait for the hernia to get bigger so that the operation could be done, and told me to do EVERITHING that i usualy do. The interestnig thing is that i usualy do parkour :) and wrestling.

I can do most of the parkour moves with no pain but wrestling is too dangereus becouse it uses the lower abdomen the most and when i trie to lift my friend a strange pain comes forme the hernia.

I so want to have that operation done the hernia is getting worse!

But i am afraid that i would never be able to wrestle or do parkour again after the surgary.

how long does the recovery take since I am 14 i figure that it would take less?

now i dont mean recovery but TOTAL recovery so that i could lift my own waight again.

i had mine done through three small incisions in my stomach i was out of the hospital one hour after the operation with no restiction whatsoever
