Hiatus hernia and abdominal pain? |
i have just been diagnosed with an hiatus hernia after a gastroscopy. throughout the day i keep getting a very sharp knife life stabbing pain to the right of my belly button that lasts for a minute or so, and i mostly all the time i have what feels like a lump near to my left ribcage. is this all connected to the hernia yes. if you google it you can learn what it is and therefor learn why it would be painfull and lumpy. it would take to long to describe in detail here but its basicaly when the muscles that support and hold in your organs tears and then the organs are popping through the hile or tear causing pain and bumps. get it fixed fast !! goodluck yes it is you should have that fixed asap The lump near your ribcage might be related, as a hiatal hernia, is a hernia in your esophagus. The sharp knife like stabbing pain sounds to me like an ulcer. I have had a hiatal hernia for over 10 years now, and the only symptoms I've had from it is reflux. |
