Do you think herbal medicine is better than normal medication?

ive got degeneration of the lower spine just wanted to know if herbal medication is better than pain killers and im not talking illegal drugs just chinese medication and herbs

There is no scientific evidence to support those claims, however millions of people will say that science is bunk anyway, and these herbs are the best thing that's happened to them. If you are prescribed painkillers, there is always the risk of developing an addiction to them. Talk to your doctor, and see if you cant get him involved. also, if herbs and such are your thing...consult an HHC.

you should never stop a medication prescribed by the doctor
and change to a herbal medication without first discussing it with your physician. many medications are prescribed because there is no other way to manage the condition safely while other medications cannot be stopped abruptly
