Is homeopathic healing-namely energy healing, herbal medicine, and healing massage-a field with a future?

I've been interested in natural healing and homeopathic medicine for a while, and think it might be something worth looking into; though, I was just curious if this field offers many oppertunities in the business world for a young entrepreneur. Any advice would be much appreciated, and if you can offer ideas as to what fields within natural healing might be worth looking deeper into please send them along as well. Thanks.

"Natural" is a trend that seems to go in and out of style ever 20 years or so--right now herbal sales are falling (or at least not growing, depending on whom you ask). But among the natural therapies, naturopathy is the fastest growing field.

If I were you, I'd first check out which therapies were legal in my state and go from there. (In some states naturopathy and homeopathy are actually illegal.) Then I'd check out the most legitimate training programs I could afford. I'd stay away from diploma mills and those "schools" with questionable accreditations.

I want to add one thing. You're going to face a lot of discrimination--you'll be called everything from a med-school wanna'be to a quack. Don't let it stop you. Good Luck! Report It
