Hepatitis B Question on Level of Antibody (Immunity)? |
I went for a vaccination a few months ago. Just had a blood test a few days ago. Results were: WOW!! You are super immune!! The "Ref.Range > 10 Reactive" means that if that number is 10 or greater you are immune to Hep. B. Your number is 1000!! Wow! You will never have to get the Hep B series again. Me however My number was 5 I had to get the series again... :-( You will definitely not have to worry about hepatitis b infection. I got the same results when I was vaccinated and my doctor told me that it is unlikely that I would ever need a booster. You are lucky to have had such good results as it is rare. |
