Things that cause and aggravate hemorrhoids are pressure (e. g. stool being backed up, excessive sitting, pregnancy) and a scratchy stool that does not pass easily.

In my experience, a diet with the following components will take care of the problem:

Water: Gives bulk to the stool and prevents it from being dry

Fiber: Gives bulk to the stool. Also helps with frequency of bowel movements so stool does not get too backed up. In addition to typical foods containing fiber, try eating potatoes in place of something.

Fish oil/peanut oil: These provide a lubricating effect so that your stool is less scratchy as it exits.

Greens: Foods such as spinach and peas can also provide somewhat of a lubricating effect for the stool.

Certain fruits: Fruits such as cherries and blueberries strengthen the walls of blood vessels (good for hemoroids since hemorroids are basically stretched blood vessels).

Once more thing: You won't hear this many places but try cutting back on sugar and salt. They make the stool very scratchy which can cause a hemorrhoid sufferer a lot of pain.

If you have a diet that includes all of these components (as opposed to just focusing on one component), you should be very relieved within a few days

Hope this helps!

Sounds like a real pain in the butt.
But dont worry the pain is a behind you now.

Sorry trying to cheer you up.

Good Luck

Surgery is not a must for treating hemorrhoids. A great natural product that is delivering good results is Rue Care Oil. However, you should know that hemorrhoid develop due to other things that are going on in your body - constipation (the most common cause but not the only one), overweight, overeating, pregnancy, sitting/standing for extended periods of time, acid/alkaline imbalance (body pH), genetic predisposition to weak veins, fatigue liver, IBS...
Unless you also treat the cause of your hemorrhoid, no matter what treatment you decide to take, sooner or later the hemorrhoid will return.
Hot, spicy foods are acidifying and are irritating and should be avoided. Acidifying foods are weakening the veins and weak veins are more prone to develop hemorrhoids.
Saturated fat is not good, while olive oil and fish oil is good. Avoid margarine, butter.
Avocado is very healthy - is alkaline and helps with bowel movement.
