What is a hemorrhagic fever?? Ebola and Dengue鈥攏ot now a problem in the US. It causes blood vessels to rupture and you bleed out under your skin. There are some African viruses like Ebola that are hemorrhagic. Very nasty diseases. They have hemorrhagic dieseases like Dengue Ebola, Marburg, Lassa in a lab down the street from me. They make you bleed. Hemorrhagic fever is a type of hyperthermia that causes hemorrhagic tendencies (internal bleeding. It is usually caused by an Aedes Aegypti mosquito's virus called flavivirus.
