Hemophilia remedies? |
I know the best way to combat internal bleeds with hemophilia A is with an intravenous injection of the clotting Factor VIII. Are there any remedies that could clot internal bleeds, or at least reduce the amount of pain in the bleeding area (commonly joints). At the most basic level hemophilia A is factor VIII deficiency like you said. There are no home remedies that can fix this or any other bleeding problem. Your body is INCAPABLE of producing that factor. I suppose that if you had a vitamin K deficiency that you could get bleeding problems from that as vitamin K is responsible for factors 2, 7, 9, and 10. This normally occurse with cystic fibrosis or other fat malabsorption diseases like celiac sprue, but I digress. |
