Hemophilia? When is it detectable? |

I have a 14 month old son and so far so good, but then I was thinking about if I have more, my risks, etc. because my son was born with a heart defect. Is it present when they are born or does it take a while to show up? medicinenet.com was a little vauge. If it makes any difference though Its type B It is present when they are born and he can be tested at any time for it-even in utero. Knowing you are a carrier I am surprised your dr. did not already do that. Even though your 14 month old does not show any signs, he could have a very mild level-or definitely not at all, which is probably the case. go to medicinenet.com--this will explaine |
