If a female who is a carrier for the hemophilia gene has a child with a male who does not have hemophilia, whi |
a. I'm pretty sure the answer is A.... I think it has something to do with the fact that Hemophilia is passed from mother to son, but being the mother is only a carrier (the father is not) only a fraction of her total children will actually display the full Hemophilia disease... the daughters will not get it........ i think its "E" it sounds to me like A. None of the above. Each child, regardless of sex, will have a 50% chance of inheriting the gene. If a boy inherits it, he will have hemophilia, a girl will only be a carrier and potentially pass on the gene to her children (again with a 50% chance). |
