Is there any way you can have diabetes and hemophilia? |
I know hemophilia has complications with bleeding and what not, but you need to check your blood sugar if your a diabetic. Is there any case where someone has had both, and how they overcame it? Wow, what an interesting question. I don't know ... you'd think people like that would be untreatable. I'm going to star your question ... because it deserves it and so I won't forget to check back :o) Some time it does happen. But, if a hemophilia patient is having regular injection of Factor VIII (for hemophilia A) or Factor XI (for hemophilia B / Christmas disease) he / she won't bleed a lot. Is safe for him / her to have a regular home base blood glucose check up. |
