Why are males the only ones to actually get hemophilia? |
is there any good reasons to fund Hemophilia? Women can get it, but more rarely. Like color vision deficiency, it's a sex linked trait. Yes, support of research for this condition is valuable. It is called a recessive trait. Men have a Y shape chromasome paired with an X and women have X X so there is an arm that is not matched up in men and the recessive traits stores there show up in the men and not women unless both Xs have the same thing. Its on the Y chromosone, whichwomen dont have. |
