Can a hemodialysis may affect blood glucose level?

how hemodialysis can cause hypoglycemia

When you have dialysis, the process removes most things from your blood, including all of the sugar. The result is low blood sugar. Be sure to eat prior to dialysis & have a light snack after to help prevent this.

Hemochromatosis
A disease with excessive storage of iron, especially in the liver and other tissues, including the pancreas and skin; it may be genetic or the result of repeated transfusions. Pancreatic involvement may sometimes lead to destruction of islet cells and to a secondary form of diabetes.
