How long can a person live on hemodialysis.? |
How long can a person live on hemodialysis.? I'm am 37 years old and I just celebrated 15 straight years on hemodialysis....with no transplant. It can be done. Indefinitely. my maw-maw lived 5 years on hemodialysis, it was 13 years ago she died, they have made a ton of improvements since then so probably longer, My mom told me they drain all the blood out of her run it through a machine and pump it back into the body, they pretty much take you till you are almost dead and then revive you, its horrible, but it may extend your life longer, good luck and I hope this person does well! 鈾?/div> |
