What steps can we take to provide four dialysis patients one home to do their treatments?

Currently none of their homes are suitable, we have a huge home donated to our patients. In order for them to have medicare cover the cost of treatments, it must be shown as their home to qualify with the home hemodialysis treatment, but how do we show that this one home belongs to each one of them. Can it be subleased on a long term lease? Please help us with ideas on how to pursuade Medicare. Their lives are at risk by travelling 104 miles, 3x a week on a one lane road.

You are an angel! At my hospital, I sometimes set up machines for patients at home, it is so rewarding to see the relief that it brings to them and their families. National Kidney Foundation, and dialysispatients.org. should have the legal means to work on this, perhaps the United Way or other charity could help. Thinking outside the box; when you want to deal with a bureacracy, you get a bureacrat, try contacting all the states reps and senators to do the persuasion. Good Luck!

I would write a letter to Congress or Senate. They have different groups that would work with you and be willing to work with you to show cause and effect.
