I have Hemochromatosis...a port does not work has anyone had this problem?

Does anyone have any other suggestion? I'm afraid to try chelation as I am allergic to so many things, what else can I try?

I am a woman and have been in menapaus for four years, my veins are too small to have phlebotomies and I am seeing several doctors who don't seem to know what to do about my small vein problem.

My cousin has it and they take blood from him monthly.

You should speak with a doctor though, not over opinionated people on yahoo :P

If you are male, you are greater risk for liver damage then females. The treatment is bleeding on a regular basis. It should be done at a hospital. If you are a woman, the menstrual cycle will help your body to +/- treat itself. Talk to a doctor.
