As far as I know, having a drink of orange juice won鈥檛 cause you any problem. Quitting smoking and not drinking too much caffeine or alcohol may make you feel better. But if you have been diagnosed with peptic ulcer caused by infection with Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) bacteria, you will need treatment with antibiotic medications to kill the bacteria. It is my recollection that some antibiotics require one to avoid citrus fruits but only while taking them. The regimen for antibiotics for H. pylori is not that long, a few days. |
