What can h-pyori (Helicobacter-Pylori) do to the body if left untreated?

i have the infection/disease and it hurts daily but i was in an accident so im not mobile. but my head and stomach hurt daily...bad. can it it be potentially lethal if left undone care of?

You can get a bad ulcer, bleed out, and die.

H. pylori can cause stomach ulcers. If left untreated, the ulcers could worsen and become bleeding ulcers. Yes, this can be life threatening.

h.pylori causer ulcer if not treated and if you still ignore it ulcer turns to perforation and you would have abdominal abces and that would cause death by infection..it is really serious...you can get rid of h.pylori by just using pills dont ignore it

If you do not take care of it, the bacteria could eat entirely through your stomach lining, causing internal bleeding. See a doc, get some meds, and prilosec too. Having something in you stomach helps too, like bananas, crackers, etc.

I don't understand why you would leave this untreated. Treatment most of the time is simply done by taken medication for a few days! Good Luck

Have u been investigated & it is confirmed that u r H-Pylorie +ve ? If the answer is yes, then u have 2 b treated 4 it. Left untreated, u will suffer from hyperacidity which would later result in Gastric Ulcer & / or Duedenal Ulcer. If still not treated, the ulcers may get perforated. If left untreated, u would die of severe anaemia due 2 bleeding from ulcers.
Since ur immobile due 2 accident, the chances of the above sequence of events taking lesser time 2 develop r even more.
