Stomach ulcer and And medications? |
I have a heartburn since i was a kid.Never really treated.By now i think i already developed an ulcer.Recently I've learned about some study that shown that ulcer is caused by bacteria(Helicobacter pylori) Ok if you dont like regular doctors..but you have to go to Nutritional Therapist as H. pylori is not a joke! they are the most difficult to control them and you can get even stomach cancer if you do not treat them properly! also you need strict diet! and dont try with Antacid theyll only cover the problem and on day youll end up with much worst! check www.patrickholford.com for good nutritional therapist..and promise they wont put anything in your stomach! :) try antiacids such as Pepcid AC, Tagamet HB, Zantac 75,Maalox and Mylanta or Axid AR which reduce the amount of acid your stomach. Also do not smoke or drink alcohol which irritates the lining even more. To tell you the truth though these may or may not help depending on the degree of the ulcer. Most endoscopy's are done under general anesthesia anyway, so you wouldn't really feel any uncomfortableness. My wife underwent one the other day - didn't feel a thing, except for a few good drugs. |
