Why has my hymen not fallen away yet?

I havent been a virgin for a while now and i have had eating problems. I went to my doctors and they said My hymen is still in my body and on the side of my uterus. I was obviously shocked and confused. They then phoned and said it was causing an infection and was advised for a blood test. I did my blood test and found out that i had ANOTHER infection "Helicobacter pylori" The DRs are now concentrating on that and doing nothing about my hymen...What should I do? All and any advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks people ^_^

that is the stangest thing I ever heard. Take care of yourself.

Take it one step at a time. I am sure that if the hymen problem was more serious they would deal with that first. Let them get your infection cleared up and then readdress the hymen.

A friend of mine had a problem with her hymen. Sometimes they can be rather tough and not always break during normal sex. Vigorous sex can usually do it and also lots of horse riding - which I think was what happened to me but she had to have her hymen surgically snipped. No problems after that. I'm sorry I can't help about the heliocabacter pylori infection (might be worth looking it up on the web to see what it says about it - just type in the name of it). Anyway, your doctor is right to treat with that first and get it cleared up - that's more important at the moment. I hope things will soon be sorted for you. xxx

i dont understand what that doctor is talking about. i would just go to a gynecologist who looks at female anatomy all the time and would be able to tell normal from abnormal. i dont think what you are describing is abnormal
