HEEL INJURy? |
a while back i was running in so flip flops (dont ask why) but anyways the heel part of the shoe was like a cuppling type thing so theres edges on both sides thats go up. So i was running and the middle of my heel cam down on that edge really hard and it hurt for a long time and it still hurts when i put weight on it and this is like 6-7 months later. So can anybody give me an idea whats wrong and what I can do for it? Stress fracture of the heel is the first thing that comes to mind. Requires x-ray and/or MRI to diagnose. Other possibilities include tendonitis or plantar fasciitis which can improve with stretching and/or immobilization. Unfortunately, you really need to see a doctor in order to get a definite answer. Best of luck. |
