Are wool socks better then regular ones, and why?

I've tried the regular socks, i've tried the ones with enforcers in the toes and heels, and I've used dry fast socks. But the problem is that I think my feet sweat a lot because of injuries I received when I jumped off a four story building and landed on my feet. Besides having wet socks, sometimes like when I wear boots, I get toe jam. I'm thinking I should get some wool socks.

I prefer cotton, but since wool does not absorb moisture, it simply draws it AWAY from the foot.

I'd try it. A lot of people who have problems like that wear wool socks to prevent any further discomfort.

If your feet sweat a lot you can try using a Spray Anti-Perspirant on them before putting on your socks. Wool should soak up more of the sweat than cotten being that they are thicker, however.

I guess because they are warmer.

Why don't you try Cotton socks with Sweat removal properties. Cotton, a natural fiber, absorbs sweat better than any other material. When you use Cotton socks with Sweat removal properties, the sweat absorbed by your socks gets evaporated by capillary action. As far your "toe jam", I don't have any idea. I suggest you to consult a Podiatrist.
