Are pantyhose fashionable?

I have to go to a wedding in october. I am wearing a strapless dress, and open high heels. I think pantyhose will look really bad because they are dark brown. The problem is that my legs are pale and have bruises on them from my sports injuries, but it's not that noticeable.

My mom says that I am going to look like a sk'ank without pantyhose because of my strapless dress. So she is forcing me to wear them. I'll probably end up wearing them.

What should I do?

You will look great. Pantyhose come in several different colors. Depending on what color your dress is, go into a department store or Victoria's Secret and tell one of the saleswomen that you are going to a wedding. They will help you pick out the right color and style of pantyhose to go with your dress and shoes. You don't want to go to the wedding without pantyhose period, especially if you have bruises on your legs. This is an event where you have to dress up. Putting on a pair of pantyhose will not only cover up the flaws in your legs, but they will make your legs look sheer and very sexy. Good Luck!

I just have to say, you should NEVER NEVER NEVER wear pantyhose with open toe shoes. It looks like something a horrible, blind old lady would wear. Don't do it. It's a crime against humanity. Report It

panty hose are out. You should get the spray on pantihose that make your legs look tan and smooth. They have it at Walgreens in the cosmetics dept. Pantyhose look even worse with open toed shoes!

You don't have to wear dark brown ones. They make then in neutral colors. They basically just cover up scars and help keep your feet from sweating in shoes. Make sure to get seamless ones or you'll have a very visible seam line on your toes and it'll look stupid.
Pantyhose are something we all wear, it's not an issue of being fashionable, it's just something you have to do.

I dont think they are really nice, but they do have other options.
Like someone else said, the spray on pantyhose work good and also the seamless pantyhose.
You can also try getting a tan or using spray on tanning lotion.
