Heartburn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I was sick on Monday, and had a fever for 2 days. I just got over my cold and I had been taking a lot of advil for my head aches and stuff. Now I keep getting heart burn and it wont go away. I was told that its from too much advil but I am not quite sure. I also have been really stressed because of my boyfriend and I don't know if thats a cause of the heartburn too. I have been taking some acidophilus and its been helping but yeah I hope I'm not getting re sick. My throat also started hurting too!!
WHATS HAPPENING TO ME AND WHAT CAN I DO <3 THANKS

the heartburn is casued by stomach acid coming back up your esophagus. The stress as well as all the advil can casue this. The acid will iritate your throat and can cause some serious health issues. You need to take something like Zantac on a regular basis for about a week or more. Get a prescription for it, it's actually cheaper than buying the over the counter stuff, because it's stronger.

OK You might think I am crazy but....I used to have really bad heartburn and I was reading a book about natural cures.....Long story short....take a tablespoon of plain vinegar,,,,yes it gross ...but it works...
The problem is you are eating food high in acid ...are normal stomach acid usual breaks these foods down for use,but if you taking to much in then it cant...the vinegar will balance it out.Its bad ,but just hold your nose.....I use to take all kinds of meds from the drug stores noting really worked well for me.Hope this helps a lil...Sorry you feel bad.

Quick Action Plan for Preventing and Treating Heartburn (Acid Reflux of GERD)
.

1. Conventional physicians recommend over-the-counter antacid medications for heartburn. Although these drugs can provide temporary relief, long-term use may be harmful, as they reduce the amount of stomach acids necessary for proper digestion and assimilation of food.

2. Screen for food allergies, which contribute to poor digestion, thus leading to heartburn. Avoid the following: foods you are allergic to, eating too many different types of foods at the same meal, drinking excess fluids during the meal, wolfing down food, or eating under stress.

3. Avoid overeating, do not eat acid forming foods, commercially-processed foods, overly spicy foods, refined sugars and carbohydrates, hydrogenated fats or oils, coffee, chocolate, sodas, excess alcohol, orange and grapefruit juice, tomato products, pasteurized milk or dairy products, and foods containing peppermint and spearmint.

4. Eat an organic whole foods diet, full of organic fresh green vegetables and green vegetable juices, especially freshly-made cucumber juice, which can provide instant relief. Free-range organic meats and poultry, and wild-caught fish are recommended. Drink plenty of pure, filtered water throughout the day.
