Heartburn....? |
Hello. Some milk would help. When you go back to bed, prop yourself up with pillows so you're not laying flat. Heartburn can be extremely painful. I hope you feel better soon. drink lots of water.... lots and lots of it... Eat some tums. As long as you don't have any underlying gallbladder issues, then you can try milk as well. Or even the tried and true pepto bismol if you can stand it. Tums,Pepto Bismol,and my personal fave that works is drinking the juice from a jar of Spanish Olives!! total professional advice.. |

I sympathise. It begged doctors for years to prescribe something for my "heartburn" (sometimes brought on by fatty foods, sometimes stress). Doctors just told me to take zantac etc etc.... Heart burn is when the acid in your stomach backs up into your esophagus. Now the best way to get rid of it is NOT antacids. Try digestive enzymes instead. they are available in your local herb sho... Drink lots of water and stop eating foods that upset your stomach like tomato sauce and orange juice.
