Heartburn.....? |
I have acid reflux that has been flareing up because of stress and caf. food. It is going into my arm and jaw. Yuck! Oh haha. no I'm 19...I know by this point it's not heart related. I went to the E.R. once for this, and they did tests and stuff, but it's reflux.lol thanks though. I sympathise. It begged doctors for years to prescribe something for my "heartburn" (sometimes brought on by fatty foods, sometimes stress). Doctors just told me to take zantac etc etc. They were such short term fixes. I know that this is stupid, but try taking A couple drinks of milk. How old are you? If you're over 40, you need to get to the hospital asap. Milk always works for me, for heartburn. None of the otc stuff does crap, except for Immodium. Yes, I know it's not for heartburn, but it has helped many times as well. Prilosec and Zantac are worthless, Maalox isn't much better. Prevacid works, but takes forever unless you take it daily with no skips. |
