Heartburn and nausea? |
I have been experiencing heartburn and nausea for a week. I am wondering if antibiotics can cause these symptoms because I have taken two courses for my pneumonia. If not the antibiotics then what about the mixing or antibiotics with my zoloft prescription? The doctor said they would be fine together, this heartburn is starting to bug me, any time I eat or drink something it comes on. Do people sometimes just experience this stuff for no reason? Multiple drug therapy lead to multiple side effects. Yes those antibiotics may have caused your heartburn & nausea, but better report this to your doctor, it might also be an adverse reaction to the drug. Zoloft is anti-depressant drug must be taken for at least six (6) months to take its effect (most anti-depressant do). I also take Zoloft and a prescription heartburn med called protonix, with no side affects at all. I just got over a bad cold which i was taking 1000 mg amoxicillan a couple times a day. Even my protonix and a pack of rolaids were not enough to put out the fire.I quit taking the antibiotics after the 10 days and wolah!! Back to normal. |
