Heart related diseases? |
Sirs my dad has a certain type of defect or disease. Its lik his valves r thick thus blocking the flow of blood. Hes been under treatment for years now.But at times he feels really hard to even sit because of the pain. Doctors hav told him tat there is no so called treatments for his problem...Any suggestions doctors.???? well your question is not very clear but i like to tell for valve you can get it replaced for blockades in artries and veins you can put stent i.e angioplasty and if there many nos of blockades then you can have surgery these days it is beating heart surgery risks are at minimum in compare to early eays of surgery some times it happen by heart activity It is hard to tell what is going on from what you said. I would ask his cardiologist if he is a candidate for valve replacement. It is a serious open heart surgery with obvious risks, but if he is in a condition where he could do well, the surgery could greatly improve his quality of life. Well from your question it appears his valves are at fault. (does he suffer from RHEUMATIC HEART DISEASE ? because in this condition valves are often involved causing their thickening ) he is not able to sit or work because due to malfunctioning of his valves his heart is not able to pump adequate amount of oxygenated blood to rest of the body. As for the treatment part i DONT THINK THERE IS ANY CONDITION OF HEART WHICH IS NOT TREATABLE TODAY the ultimate treatment being heart transplantation but all that you dad requires if at all is valve replacement with prosthetic (artificial) valves. Its a costly procedure though. If money is not a problem then you should go to some good private hospital like fortis or apollo (you can search bout them on net) otherwise i suggest go to some good govt institution like AIIMS new delhi PGI chandigarh SGPGI lucknow etc heart related diseases please go and vist under url Make the valves of his heart thinner by putting him on a garlic containing diet. If your father is ready to consume atleast 700 gms of garlic(after peeling of its skin) per month well cooked with other food like pulao, watery vegetables, dal and chutneys, then his condition should definitely improve from the end of the month. If he continues with the regimen, then he should definitely get rid of his problem in seven to nine months. Where are you located? There is an ayurvedic doctor in Pune who is specialised in treting heart patients with his own invented medicine. I can get his details for you if you are interested. Send me an email. Better consult doctor and if required repair the heart by surgery, get checked by angio graphy and required have plasty of pece maker or change volves as the case may be. Don't ignore. It appears that arteries are blocked. Be careful and do before any calamity arises. better consult with another Doctor hi ... sorry to hear about ur dads problem .. i know it feels horrible when docs say such things...dont be disheartened ...hv u consultaed any cardio surgeons ... ok .. start with simple yoga exercises ... ask ur dad to do {breathing}prayanam exercises..he can do it in lying down position and this will help him a lot... start with in small number of takes slowly he will be able to do for long time.. get a ramdev swamis yoga cd.. u can see and help him to do... best of luck... |
