Can any one suggest treatment for Mitral Valve incompetence? |
A heart disease mainly affects in the childhood. it affects through bacterial infection in tonstrils which properly not cared later affect the mitral valves. It mixes the good blood and bad blood due to the non working of valve. That means as per the required speed, the valve will not close or open. It can detect through stethescopic hearing even. The hearbeat speed varies. Mitral Valve: One of the heart's four valves. The mitral valve normally swings open to allow the smooth passage of blood from the left atrium to the left ventricle, then closes. Blood should flow only in one direction and only at the right time. Mitral Valve incompetence is defective closure of the mitral valve permitting regurgitation into the left atrium during systole. Mitral valve repair is used to treat regurgitation (leakage) or stenosis (narrowing) of the mitral valve. Traditionally, surgeons have treated mitral valve disease by removing the diseased valve and implanting an artificial valve (valve replacement). I have MVP (Mitral Valve Prolapse). Many children have it, and for many it self-corrects by adulthood. It has never affected my quality or life or energy. The only thing I have to do is take antibiotics as a prophylactic before dental appointments. I'm not quite sure if what you're referring to is the same. I'd say talk to the doctor about it, and see if it's serious enough to require medication or surgery. You must have an echocardiogram (if you haven't already had one). This will tell you whether there is no significant blood backing up behind the valve, a trace or small amount, or a large amount backing up. If the tonsils are the source of the bacterial introduction of infectious materials to the heart, then perhaps a tonsilectomy is in order. The problem is, your heart may not be strong enough to withstand the surgical risks as a result of the infection. So, assuming there's a medical rather than surgical best practice indicated right now, it is best to consult your physician rather than risk exacerbating the situation with home remedies suggested by laypersons like me. (We mean well, but we're not medically trained professionals). I've seen Coca Cola work in a movie, but you certainly don't want to trust something this important to a cinematic remedy. Good luck to you. No, it does not mix the bad blood with the good blood, it makes the heart shoot some of the good blood backwards instead of out the aorta. mitral valve replacement at maa amruta anand hosp/cmc vellore/escorts hosp/apollo hyd etc etc "good blood" does not mix with "bad blood". The values have nothing to do with that as the two sides of the heart are separate. An ayurvedic doctor in Pune, India has invented a capsule mailnly for treating heart ailments. He has been doing research since 1993 on heart ailments and ayurveda and treated more than 6000 patients suffering from coronary artery disease successfully. Hi there ! what are you waiting for ?
