When respiratory difficulties are involved, you go immediately to the E.R. This is not something to play around with. Now go!

Ummmmm... call the doctor?

Quickly take him to his doctor. I wouldnt advise oppinions which might be innacurate off the net.

What are you asking all of us idiots for, take the baby to a hospital, NOW!!!

go to a doctor

I would take him to the doctor right away. You don't want to take any chances.

Geez this is a tough one, but I'm thinking maybe....

TAKE HIM TO THE DOCTOR!!!!

Consult the doctor as soon as possible.

For CHRISSAKE, take that kid to the DAMN Doctor!!!!!!!!

I never trust doctors. They are in it for money. Like why the hell would they give a baby high blood pressure medication. This is where the FDA profits. My mom takes that and it does HER no good. Especially when it comes to surgery. They are paid thousands for performing surgeries. My advice is you seek a second opinion- alternative medicine maybe. I attend acupuncture sessions for all my ailments. However, he is a baby, so ask if it's possible to treat him w/ it. It's effective, safe, and has been practice by the Chinese for thousands of years. Just do your research. He did go through major surgery.

Your baby had heart surgery. He is still a baby. Before you do anything else...GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION!!!!!
.
Once you know that the heart is not the cause of his breathlessness or it is not a virus etc. A suggestion I have, which I told to my close friend when her young baby/toddler had trouble breathing at night, is burn a few drops of eucalyptus oil in an oil burner. You only need 2 or 3 drops in a base of water heated over a slow burning candle. Do not leave the candle unattended for long. A good idea would to be to blow the candle out before you go to bed as the eucalyptus scent will have permeated the air by then. My friend told me it worked for her son.

After consulting with your doctor to make sure he is not suffering from congestive heart failure or the like a treatment that works great for someone who has trouble breathing is: take him into the bathroom shut the door(if u have no door place a towel over his head) run only the hot water (face him toward the shower but make very very sure he is not spashed) inhaling the steam will open his airways
