Dental cleaning after heart surgery ? |
I hope someone who knows will tell me how long to wait after open heart surgery (bypass) before you can go to the dentist office and have your teeth cleaned by the hygienist. I had a heart transplant and my doctors made me wait six months before I could go have my teeth cleaned. I also have to pre-medicate before I go now.
