Questions about my father's heart attack and surgery? |
What does it mean when the cardiologist says to your father after his heart attack and heart surgery that you have lost 30% or your heart or something like that? Loosing 30% of your heart means, Decrease in Functional activity of heart by 30%. I'm not a Doctor but I am trained in certain areas of medicine although I am not an expert. When a person has a myocardial infarction (heart attack) that part of the heart literally dies and cannot be revived or replaced. My father has had two major heart surgeries so I know how it feels to go through this. Have faith in your dad's doctors, they know what they're doing. God Bless. Tina that sounds serious. |
