Has anyone had heart surgery then need one again after 5 years?

My brother had major heart surgery 5 years ago and now if experiencing some minor chest pains, and dizziness, not to mention he's been looking rather pale.
He will NOT see a doctor and refuses to take any drugs, but does take herbal medicine that seems to keep him alive and strong. Any body else hear about these kind of cases?

I had open heart surgery in 3rd grade, and now im a junior in high school. I had a few catherizations in my groin between that time and i have been drinking medicine since. i know that later within several years or so i might have to get a transplant.

MY MOTHER HAD A 5WAY BI-PASS, 3 YEARS LATER SHE HAD ANGIOPLASTY ( THE BALLOON TO OPEN A VALVE OR ARTERY) THEN 3 YEARS AFTER THAT SHE HAD A 3WAY BI-PASS AND NOW HAS A PACE MAKER, SHE IS DOING FINE. I URGE YOUR BROTHER IF HE IS HAVING PROBLEMS TO GO SEE THE DOCTOR. SOMETIMES THEY HAVE TO GO BACK IN AND REDO. IT ALSO DEPENDS ON HOW YOU TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. YOU CAN HAVE BI-PASS SURGERY SEVERAL TIMES. AS FAR AS HOME REMEDIES I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
