Can a Heart Murmur affect you in life? |
I was born with a Heart Murmur. Can this affect me or has already? my grandson was born with a heart murmur and had to have surgery to close up the holes. they were not able to close one of the holes and told us that he should not have any problems with it unless he wanted to scuba dive, it that case they would have to go back in and close the last hole. Just makes your blood less oxygenated when your heart is overworked. Could affect you during a rough pregnancy or if you decide to run a marathon. Usually, not going to be much of a problem but you will know if it is getting worse if you find yourself exhausted and out of breath from everyday activities.
