Congestive Heart Failure Information?

I would like to find some websites( reliable like .edu or .gov, etc) about Congestive Heart Failure. I will also definitely take any book suggestions. I have to write a speech on congestive heart failure and I need information like treament, causes/effects, and research or things like that. Thanks!

Go to your local hospital's education department, they should have informative information on CHF. CHF is a very large topic. I am an RN and every time a patient is diagnosed with CHF, new or not, it is our responsibility as nurses to educate our patients with information on their diagnoses. We have handouts on CHF, provide them with a film on CHF, dietery intake with diagnosis of CHF, using oxygen for shortness of breath when the patients dyspnea is not respiratory related.

I only have personal experience. My husband had a transplant at 32 due to CHF from an "unknown" infection (possably chicken pox at age 27) attacking his heart. Good luck with your speech.
