Diastolic heart failure, what can i do to help?

If someone is diagnosed with diastolic heart failure, hes been given pills, what other things could help the process, besides exercise, and food, (nuts, fish, vegetables) i know its kinda vague so.... help?

You have started to help already, by asking the first of what will probably be many questions. Having been through this process recently with my wife's systolic heart failure, I know something about how it feels, but diastolic is a completely different beast. (In fact, I understand that the prognosis is generally better.)

So I'm going to give you a pointer to the best site on the internet for understanding all forms of heart failure, and I'll also point you to the DHF page at that site, and you should be able to go from there.

I strongly recommend finding a heart failure specialist. Systolic heart failure is relatively uncommon, but it has at least been well-studied in recent years. I don't think DHF is anywhere nearly as well understood.

Please feel free to contact me if you want any help with your explorations. I moderate the Yahoo cardiomyopathy group, so you should feel free to pop in there for any further questions.

Please watch this video now and share it.If you're interested visit my website also .Its a matter of life and death !Listen to this doctor and what he has to say about this alternative med.
