How long before heart failure? |
Regarding a person who is anorexic: She is 5'1", weighs about 81 pounds, and strives to eat around 800 calories a day. She hasn't had her period in almost 4 months now, and is always tired and cold. If I could estimate how long she's had this disordered eating, I would say about a year and a half. Her "goal weight" is 75 lbs., but at what point would she be at risk for heart problems and/or failure? she probably is at risk for heart problems right now. consult her and tell her that your worried about her. also tell your parents and her parents about her problem and get her to see a doctor and a conselor ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good luck 2 u and ur friend! She needs to see A Doctor ASAP heart problems could happen now kidney problems and liver problems are also likely. |
