Living with Congestive Heart Failure?

I was recently hospitalized and diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I also have ruematoide arthritis and can not walk so does anyone know of any exercises that I would be able to do. I need to exercise but i am not sure what will be harmful to my heart

Visit a physical theropy center and ask them to see what an
"ARM ERGOMETER" looks like. Then go to where ever you get exercise equipment and get one...
(providing your arms are not effected by the arthritis)

If you totally have Congestive Heart Failure you are not living with anything. You can do things to improve and strengthen your heart. You might not be able to reverse the damage but you can slow it down on stop it from getting worse. Ask your Cardiologist to refer you to a trainer or physical therapist who knows what there doing with heart patients and work with him or her to help yourself be the best you can be. Good Luck. I've had heart conditions since birth and I'm 56 years old.

Congestive Heart Failure happens when water collects in a sac surrounding the heart called the peritoneum. This restricts the hearts pumping ability. You need to be on medications and under a doctors care immediately. If not the water can build up and it actually strangles the heart from pumping and you die. Seek professional help. If you were diagnosed and not given proper advice or medications to help you seek a second opinion.
